The Dewey Beach Patrol is reaching out for help in supporting our competition team in their efforts to compete in the 2014 United States Lifesaving Association National Competition in Virginia Beach, Virginia. For the first time in years our women’s sprint relay team placed first in the Mid-Atlantic region, while our men’s team placed second. The land line rescue team went neck and neck with the National Champion Rehoboth Beach team and ended up finishing just behind and qualifying for nationals. We are fortunate enough to have these 11 guards, forming three separate teams, that have an opportunity to reach All-American and or National Champion honors this coming week in Virginia Beach.
To donate, make your check payable to “Dewey Beach Patrol Competition Team” and give to any member of the Patrol or mail your contribution to:
Dewey Beach Patrol 105 Rodney Ave. Dewey Beach, DE 19971.
It costs $500 to send each member to the competition, and your donations are greatly appreciated!
