Town History Committee 
The mission of the Town History Committee is to assist our residents in understanding and appreciating the history of our area, especially in the protection of our shores during World War II, as well as through the multiple challenges of hurricanes, disaster preparedness, and other difficulties we have faced together. We are a town perched between the Sea and the Bay, named after an Admiral. Our history is our common bond.

Town Council Relationships and Issues Committee 
The mission of the Town Council Relationships and Issues Committee is to facilitate attendance of our citizens at Town Council and committee meetings, to report to the membership on the proceedings at Town Council meetings, to inform the membership on important issues under consideration by the Town Council, and to manage the liaison between the Town's commissioners and the members of the League's Board of Directors.

Town Comprehensive Plan Committee 
The mission of the Town Comprehensive Plan Committee is to understand, evaluate and comment upon the effects of the proposed comprehensive plan on the residents of Dewey Beach, providing assistance and leadership to the effort to develop a viable future plan for our town.

Town Beautification Committee 
The mission of the Town Beautification Committee is to improve and maintain the appearance of the public areas of Dewey Beach by facilitating and sponsoring such projects as the planting of trees and flowers, the purchase and installation of benches, preserving natural resources of the town, and working with town government to address problems relating to the overall environment of our area.

Membership Committee 
The mission of the Membership Committee is to grow the membership of the Civic League, assist members with obtaining and renewing their membership, help members find meaningful service opportunities within the League, and otherwise address the needs and concerns of our members.

The mission of the Website Editorial Committee is to provide our residents with understandable information about issues affecting our town so that they may better understand and participate in decisions that will improve our governance and way of life.

Business-Resident Relations Committee 
The mission of the Business-Resident Relations Committee is to foster a cooperative relationship among the property owners, residents, and business owners of Dewey Beach, to facilitate productive dialogue between the residents and business community, and to seek constructive solutions to problems arising in business-resident relations.
