David spends most
weekends with his wife Karen at their
house at the northern end of Dewey Beach. Karen and David
have two grown daughters who also have frequented Dewey most of their
lives, as well as a black lab and an orange cat. Their
year-round home is in Great Falls, Virginia.
David
has a B.A. from DePauw University, an M.T.S. in theology from Harvard
Divinity School, and a law degree from Georgetown University.
He served as Counsel to the Senate Health Subcommittee and now is head
of the health law practice at the law firm of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw
Pittman LLP, working out of the firm's Northern Virginia
office. David specializes in the representation of hospitals,
physicians, health insurance companies, and life sciences and
biotechnology businesses.
David has been active in
Dewey Beach community events for several years. He is
co-founder of the Fort Miles Historical Association and serves on its
Board of Directors. He also served as president of the Silver
Lake Dunes Homeowners Association. His hobbies include
running, amateur baseball, horseback riding, golf, and working on his
1929 Model A Ford.
